We have always wanted a three season room. We had heard about RDK Construction and decided to contact Ray about our project. What came out of our planning was a beautiful, 8×16, all cedar thing of beauty. The quality of the work is exceptional. Ray's crew also put a new roof on our home, blending the new roof lines of the addition, into the existing roof. Any and all issues they found with the old roof (decking, rotted rafter tails, rotted fascia) were taken care of in a professional manner. We're delighted with the finished product, and the attention to detail while it was being built.

I would highly recommend RDK to anyone looking for outstanding quality workmanship at a fair price. Ray was hired to do some major remodeling of an existing home for us, along with a small addition, and we cannot say enough positive things about the work he did or the experience we had working with him and his team! Not only are they very easy to work with and extremely trustworthy, but they are also exceptional craftsman who truly take pride in their work. They treated our project like it was their own and made great suggestions to help us achieve an end result that was beyond our expectations while staying on budget. Ray was even able to complete the entire project on time, even though we were on an extremely tight timeline and added some things we hadn't originally planned.

We recently hired RDK to do a very extensive renovation on a rental duplex in East Lansing. We do not live in the area so we were very concerned about trusting a contractor to do the work since we couldn't be there every day. We hired RDK because they were highly recommended by other tradespeople and we couldn't have been happier. Ray and his crew did an exceptional job. They always showed up as promised, the price was very fair, the job site was left clean, they always answered questions and returned phone calls, they were very pleasant to work with, and the quality of the work was exceptional. Ray's son, Raymond, did much of the work himself. He is extremely talented and his attention to detail was impressive. Even though we weren't able to be at the job site every day, they never cut any corners and went above and beyond our expectations. We could not have completed this project on time without RDK and we would highly recommend. We have more projects planned for next year and won't consider hiring anyone else.

I originally chose RDK Contracting for our large home remodeling project due to their reputation as Finer Wood Craftsman. Over the years we keep going back to them for various projects both indoors and out. They truly are custom craftsman!
